Designing a crafted brand identity that captures the essence of exploration
Amatuli is the largest trader in global artefacts in Africa. The company approached FDC to develop a corporate identity as they had been trading without any formal mark for the previous 20 years and wanted to expand into the retail market. FDC developed a unique logotype and identity that captured the essence of the artefacts they import from the corners of the globe.

A strong typographic icon was developed and forms the primary branding device across all collateral. This hand-crafted word mark serves as a unique stamp applied to all products under the Amatuli brand. In addition to the brand identity design, full art direction and photographic styling services were also provided.
